What is BAE?
If you've ever wished to combine your love of technology, science, and mathematics with art, business, or social science, you may have just found what you've been wanting.
The University of Arizona's Bachelor of Arts in Engineering (BAE) program offers a unique degree that allows you to combine a field of engineering with a non-technical area of study. For example, you can choose to study Computer Engineering and Music, Industrial Engineering and Finance, Artificial Intelligence and Philosophy, or another combination that fits your interests. The BAE allows you to choose your own course plan so that you can obtain the job of your dreams.
Given the BAE's combination of technical and liberal arts studies, you can become incredibly valuable to a prospective employer. BAE graduates have gone on to be employed at IBM, Motorola, Lockheed Martin, and a number of other companies. You may even also want to go to graduate school at schools such as Stanford and California (Berkeley) as BAE students have also done.
