BAE Degree: Engineering, Math, and Science

Basic Engineering

BAE students are required to take ENGR 102 (Intro to Engineering), ENGR 170 (Problem Solving Using Computers), ENGL 308 (Technical Writing), and 6 credits (two courses) of basic Engineering courses.

Math

Three math courses are required for the BAE: MATH 124/125 (Calculus I), MATH 129 (Calculus II), and MATH 223 (Vector Calculus). An additional course may also be chosen as part of the degree's Math or Communication elective.

Science

The BAE allows you the freedom to choose which Science courses you wish to take (as approved by advisor). For example, if you wish to have a focus in Mechanical Engineering, Physics courses would be applicable towards your Science credits.
