Alumni Profile: Brian Perry
Brian Perry has always had an aptitude for math and science, and decided to turn that aptitude into an engineering career. A Tucson native, Brian had family that attended UA, and he was impressed with the fine reputation that the College of Engineering and Mines had earned over the years.
Brian received both a BS in Systems Engineering (1989) and a MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona, but his involvement with UA and SIE did not stop there. Throughout his professional life, Brian has maintained ties with SIE and the College of Engineering. He currently serves on the Dean’s College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Council (IAC), as well as SIE’s Industrial Advisory Board.
After graduation, Brian began his career at Hughes Aircraft Company, and has remained there through its transition into Raytheon Missile Systems. He is currently working with the Air-to-Air Missile Product Line.
In addition to his involvement with the IAC and other campus organizations, Brian maintains contact with UA and SIE by working with students seeking internships and permanent positions with Raytheon.
