Linda started at SIE in August of 1995 as the Administrative Secretary
at the front desk. In March of 1997 she was promoted to Administrative Assistant,
at which time she performed accounting duties and assisted with faculty searches
and payroll. In July 2001, Linda decided she wanted a change so she took
the vacant Student Academic Specialist position.
So she went from numbers to people. Now she works with the students
assisting them with their plans of study, registering for classes,
and making sure their paperwork is in order for graduation.
Linda has 2 children, a daughter, Jennifer, who is attending the UA, and a
son, Richard, who graduated from Catalina Magnet High School in May of
2000, where he studied Aviation Structural Repair. He now spends his time
at the Pima Air and Space Museum working in the airplane restoration area.
