Donna Rhodes is a researcher for the Center for Technology, Policy and Industrial Development at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she also teaches in the Engineering Systems Division. Previously she was the Systems Engineering Process Owner at Lockheed Martin Federal Systems in Owego, New York, where she managed the systems engineering center-of-competence. She has also held senior management positions in several commercial product development organizations. Dr. Rhodes has published over 40 technical papers in the field of systems engineering and has co-authored industry and company systems engineering standards and guidebooks. She has been an invited speaker and panelist for numerous industry, government, and university activities. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Systems Science/Advanced Technology from the T.J. Watson School of Engineering at Binghamton University, where she served for many years as an adjunct professor. She currently serves on industry advisory boards for systems engineering graduate degree programs at Cornell University and Stevens Institute of Technology. Dr Rhodes has served in various leadership roles in INCOSE over the past decade, and is presently INCOSE Director for Strategic Planning. She served as INCOSE President in 2000, and previously was INCOSE Technical Board Chair. She is an Associate Editor of the INCOSE journal, Systems Engineering. |
