A COTS-Based Engineering Process Example

This study has three purposes.

1. Use the Commercial off the Shelf (COTS)-Based Engineering package on a real system design. Write an example of using the COTS-Based Engineering approach on a design. Document the time spent on each phase of the COTS-Based Engineering activities.

2. Perform a tradeoff study of commercially available tradeoff study tools and recommend a tradeoff study tool for BAE.

3. Present an example of using the Hybrid Process for getting traditional requirements from use cases [Daniels and Bahill, 2004].
